Starfall

The Starfall content update on January 25th, 2024 introduced a new quest chain to unlock the airship The Forerunner and repeatable quests to earn Star Shards, which can be used to produce loot boxes.

In addition to resources, books and buffs, these loot boxes either contain Experience Points – quite a lot – or offer a chance to receive a crystal building skin or the Crystal Tree.

The Starfall items and buffs are linked to quests: you can only produce them, if they are required by active quests.

Star Shard storage capacity

The storage capacity for Star Shards is pretty low and increases only by building and upgrading The Forerunner. Upgrades are available at certain levels after completing a quest.
