Anniversary Event: General Information

For the duration of the Anniversary Event, you can buy special items from the event merchant for Gems. No items can be bought for the event resource Balloons; donate them instead to receive special items as quest rewards.

The Balloons you donate count towards your personal donation goals (the quest “The Big Celebration”) as well as towards the community goals, which count all donated Balloons from all players worldwide and have to be completed within a week.

How To Donate Balloons

Open your resource storage by clicking on your Mayor's house or one of your Storehouses. Find the entry for Balloons under the “Event” tab and click on it to donate Balloons.

How To Get Balloons

Completing quests and achievements rewards a few Balloons, but the Festival Hall – located on the island between sector 4 and 5 – will produce the majority of your Balloons in exchange for resources. Place a Storehouse as close as possible to the Festival Hall to minimize its production time.

Buff the production of your or your friends’ Festival Hall with Birthday Cakes, which can be produced in your Provision House from Cake Dough and Candles. Players up to level 57 receive Cake Dough from treasure searches, adventure & expedition rewards and collectibles, while players from level 58 receive Candles instead. Trade with other players to get the other resource or alternatively, transmute them in your Provision House.
